Main Hall

The Main Hall occupies most of the ground floor of the Town Hall, and is entered directly from the Town Hall foyer.

The hall includes:

• A substantial raised stage with two ante-rooms, one each side of the stage
• A fully equipped bar
• A large professional standard kitchen
• A superb wooden dance floor
• A sound system

The Hall is licensed for audiences of up to 200, and it is regularly used for functions attended by 100 to 120 people. The pictures show the Main Hall set up for various wedding receptions, dances, dinners and exhibitions.

The Hall is large enough (just) to be used as a badminton court and is used for indoor bowling.. It is also used for keep-fit classes including yoga and zumba.
